So we are back with Zombie games, just when we thought this genre of games was exhausted, the team at Saber Interactive pull this rabbit out of the bag.

This is not you typical zombie game, forget Call of Duty zombies, ignore left 4 dead.

World War Z based on the Film from Paramount is an absolute blast.

About the game

World War Z is a thrilling four-player cooperative third-person shooter featuring massive swarms of zombies that recklessly rush their living prey. Focused on fast-paced gameplay — and based on the incredibly popular Paramount Pictures property of the same name — World War Z explores new storylines and characters from around the world intense, overwhelming, gruesomely exciting missions crafted specifically for modern consoles and PC.

Game Play

This is a straight point and spray, but you need to pay attention as friendly fire is on and your team mates will not like to be knocked by friendly fire.

The hordes of Zombies in WWZ is ridiculous with over 500 on the screen at any one time, gives this game a massive edge and a nightmare feeling that you may not survive.

The game plays smoothly with plenty of different scenarios and lack of ammo at points to make you think how to get to the next part of the game.

Like all games it has a couple of bugs. missions have glitched out on occasion leaving the players in game but the mission not able to progress, and the run feature is a bit to clunky. Otherwise it is pretty solid.

A solid game, which gives the Zombie genre a new lease of life
